In the Press: Feature in Travel Africa magazine

David Lloyd featured in Travel Africa magazine

Travel Africa magazine is a journal that I have loved to read for many years, in fact since it was first published in 1997.

Therefore, it’s a great honour to have been featured in the current edition (#103, February-April 2024).

Travel Africa magazine is, in my eyes, one of the very best publications dedicated to travel in this incredible continent.

Travel magazine dedicated to highlighting the delights of Africa

Travel Africa magazine describes the country as “the world’s most exciting continent” and I’m inclined to agree.

If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ll know that I love to visit Africa and I have been doing so for more than 30 years.

As a wildlife photographer, I get to visit Africa many times each year on my photography solo trips and when hosting my photography safaris.

No visit to Africa is short of excitement, and no matter how many times I visit I always leave in awe of the wildlife that I have witnessed there.

The Circle of Life

In the Travel Africa magazine feature, I have shared my thoughts on life and death; both of which I witness, and often photograph, while on safari in Africa.

My image ‘Getting A Head Start’ is a great example of this; it depicts a hyena making off with the head of a zebra, following a lion attack. This image was most recently shortlisted in the Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2023 Awards.

Please support Travel Africa magazine

If you would like to read the feature for yourself, please support Travel Africa magazine by buying a copy. Better still, take out a subscription by visiting the Travel Africa magazine website. Alternatively, visit your nearest newsagent.

Print and digital, or digital-only Travel Africa magazine subscription options, plus gift packs are available.

My thanks go to Craig Rix and the editorial team at Travel Africa magazine for interviewing me and including my wildlife photography in edition 103.
